Emperor Scorpions (True P. imperator)

Emperor Scorpions (True Pandinus imperator) for Sale

Looking to buy a True Emperor Scorpion online?

True Emperor Scorpions (Pandinus imperator) are among the largest and most iconic scorpions in the world. Native to the tropical forests of West Africa, these impressive arachnids are prized for their massive black bodies, powerful pincers, and generally calm disposition. Their impressive size and striking appearance have made them one of the most popular scorpion species in the exotic pet hobby for decades.

Unlike many smaller scorpions that rely primarily on venom, True Emperor Scorpions often use their powerful claws to capture prey. They are primarily nocturnal and spend much of the day hidden beneath bark, logs, or substrate before emerging at night to hunt and explore. Their fascinating behavior and relatively docile temperament make them excellent display animals for both beginning and experienced invertebrate keepers.

At Big Apple Herp, we offer healthy True Emperor Scorpions for sale that are carefully maintained and professionally shipped. Because many scorpions sold in the hobby are often misidentified, we specifically identify these as True Pandinus imperator whenever available.
